Start Smart Website is a sub-brand of Bauhinia Solutions, and we recognised a gap in the market for cost effective, easy to use, ready-made websites that YOU can manage yourself. Whilst we have been building WordPress websites since 2007, we weren’t actively promoting this. All our work was through word of mouth, and existing clients.
In early 2019, we decided to spread our wings and jump all in, and officially start promoting our website design and development services. We are based in Hong Kong and work with clients globally. Our services has been specifically designed for women entrepreneurs who are time poor, and want to spend their money wisely.
We like to keep things simple and uncomplicated, and Nicole’s attention to detail has rubbed off on the team.

Nicole Graham
Founder and Director
Nicole started blogging after moving to Hong Kong in 2003, started learning to create websites in 2005 and has been providing virtual support since 2007. Having grown alongside WordPress, Nicole has designed and built her own websites as well as many client sites. She started out hand coding the CSS files, and as WordPress and technology evolved, she shifted to creating almost custom designs using premium themes from StudioPress and Elegant Themes.
Over the past 10 years Nicole has noticed how much more empowered women are to start their own business, and with this in mind, felt it was time to offer an almost custom website design solution. Nicole’s goal is to empower 1,000 women to manage and maintain their own website (until they’re ready to outsource it due to business success and growth).
Genevieve Salipan
Virtual Assistant – Graphic Design
Genevieve has been working with the Bauhinia Solutions / Start Smart Website team since 2018 and has assisted with some of the creation and design of our WordPress themes, as well as helping with our client websites. Genevieve has solid experience in customer and administrative support.
Genevieve has helped client’s with some of the graphic design aspects of a website including logo design, and has assisted with creating websites. Genevieve is a valued member of the Start Smart team and is always happy to help you wherever she can.
