Julia Richardson is a freelance wildlife photographer based in the UK and lives and works with her partner on his stock and arable farm. Julia’s love of animals, the outdoors and photography, has led her on various trips to the Scottish Highlands where she looks to shoot mountain hares, red squirrels, deer, ptarmigan and coastal birds. She also shoots local wildlife whenever she is able to spend time off the farm. Alongside wildlife photography, Julia also works in branding and shoots countryside events, county shows, and product launches and is now planning and working towards her Associate Distinction of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS) specialising in Natural History.

Julia Richardson Website Design

Julia came to us in need of a bespoke website that would help to showcase her beautiful photography allowing people to view and purchase her photographs online.  Julia also wished to have her photographs displayed both as public and private galleries.

For this we needed to create a bespoke website, still based on our Divi Theme, but also introducing a platform that would work as a gallery for a photographer.  We decided that NextGen Gallery with Imagely would be perfect for Julia offering a gallery experience on the site allowing us all the functionality Julia required to add, edit, re-order and price galleries and individual photographs.

In summary, what we did for Julia Richardson Photography was:

  • Developed a Bespoke website
  • Set up NextGen and individual pages
  • Private pages set up for Private Galleries
  • Uploaded images and set up a shopping cart
  • On-page SEO
  • Created a User Guide to help Julia update the galleries
